Simply press the DCT button when you get a bite—an audible beep confirms the depth has been saved. Drop your bait again and the reel will alert you with another beep once you reach that same depth.
This is a huge advantage when targeting schooling species such as terakihi, snapper, and mackerel. If the fish move, just press the DCT button again to instantly update your new target depth.
Designed for fast-moving lure work, the reel features an ultra high-speed 8.1:1 gear ratio, making it perfect for aggressive jigging techniques.
Pro Tip from Rainer Korn:
Pair this reel with multicolour braid (colour-changing every 10m). If your sounder marks fish at 50m, simply drop your line to 5 colour changes, press the DCT button, and you’ll be able to hit that depth every time.
